I need you to get your girl some info. I need the word on the street, honey. I need the tea piping hot- I need you to go talk to your friends, enemies, frenemies, butt buddies, cousins, and have them tell you about anyone they know. I need straight facts and good gossip on everyone here. And then get back to me. Kisses.

And this isn’t something for nothing. If you bring me some good goss, you’ll get some good info in turn about your whole situation. Cause that’s what you’re missing most besides home, right? Context.”

I remember her. I was only able to give her gossip on one person.

There's something I need to warn you of. There are two people who've just arrived that you've got to be careful around. One is Silco. He's middle-aged, well-dressed. You'll know him by his scarred eye. You can't trust him.

The other is Jinx. She's a girl a little younger than me, short, with long light-blue hair. [Her voice starts getting increasingly strained as she talks about Jinx. Caitlyn clearly has some very, very personal feelings about her.] She's dangerous, Heather. I don't know what sorts of weaponry she's got here, but she's a threat regardless. Even being near her puts you at risk. Please, stay away from her.

If you need to come by my apartment to hide out or anything, I'm here.

[She is staying in her massive, obvious, family mansion with her family crest all over it that Jinx has been inside of, but still.]

If I were to spend time with you or go to your apartment, I fear I would only draw her attention to you. I wouldn't want to put you in any more danger than you already are simply by her being here.

I understand, I've been....in a similar situation back home. But I want you to know something-

( they may not be the best of friends yet or too terribly close, but cait is someone heather wants to be friends with.

[It's incredibly touching, especially as Caitlyn has never really had a friend before, other than Jayce. And, well, Vi, but Caitlyn's spent far too much time fantasizing about Vi's lips for her to qualify as just a 'friend.']

Perhaps, if I were discreet, I could visit you. I think it would... it would be nice to spend time with a friend.

[ Of course Gorgug's gotta check up on his pal. He gives her a day to... well, recuperate after the mission, and she might need more time for that, but that's alright-- Gorgug can wait if she needs it.

He still wants to leave the message with her, to catch up whenever she's ready. ]

gorgug, hey it's been a while.

( things had been difficult and swept up in just trying to survive that world and all of the objectification and fighting left her feeling like a husk of herself.

when his message came through, she had been in bed, curled up in a wet towel with a sadness taking her over. she had people like henry and even vincent that she had turned to, but given the arrival of a new member [for now] of her world, she was still feeling miserable. )

( quite a bit had happened between the time she vented to him and now- with the arrival of the woman responsible for her father's demise being a big change for her. though she was still shaky about the whole thing, she found it beneficial to distract herself.

hey, yeah I'm down. I have my katana with me now, but uh....

do you think there's a good spot at camp to train in?

Yeah. My cabin is in charge of an archery range and sword lessons. We've got both set up down the road behind the softball field. I'm stuck there most afternoons for camp assignment, so come by any time.
